You Are Remarkable, There’s No Debate

I spend a lot of time contemplating adjectives … yes, adjectives. Two that I really like are “exceptional” and “extraordinary.” These words motivate me and get me thinking outside the box. They get me thinking of the possibilities in life and of people who are making a difference.

But, the one word that I’ve been coming back to over and over again is “remarkable.” According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary remarkable means:

Worthy of being or likely to be noticed, especially as being uncommon or extraordinary.

I LOVE this definition. Why? Because you are remarkable.

You are “worthy of being noticed.”

You are “uncommon.”

You are “extraordinary.”

And so am I.

It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’ve come from. Your place of birth doesn’t make a difference. Your family history doesn’t change the truth.   Nothing you’ve done in the past or anything you are doing right now can change the fact … you are remarkable.

How can I say this? Because it’s true.

You are remarkable because the One who created the Universe, the One who knows ALL things peered deep into your heart saw every thought, every fear, every insecurity and said, “I love you.” “I love you more than you can understand and I want to spend eternity with you.” So God sent Jesus to die on the cross for YOU.

God said, “I notice you. You are uncommon. You are extraordinary. You are remarkable.”

This is ultimate Truth. You are remarkable.

Let that sink in a bit… you are remarkable.

On bad hair days and days when your jeans don’t zip; on days when you snap at a co-worker or yell at your children; and on days when you feel like the world is closing in on you, you are still remarkable.

Take the journey to discover the truth … YOU ARE REMARKABLE …for this will change everything.
